Join Trade
The "Join Trade" feature allows users to join an existing trade of a trader they are copying, even if they initially missed the trade. You can also join a trade of any trader on the platform, even if you are not regularly following them. Once you join a trade, you will automatically copy all future increases, decreases, and trade closures made by the trader.
For example, if the trade is already up 1% for the trader and you join at that point, and the trade subsequently moves down 0.5%, the trader may still close in profit while your copy will result in a 0.5% loss since you joined at a higher price.
The Join Trade button appears next to any open trade in the portal that you are not currently involved in. Clicking the button will prompt the familiar trade-opening window, where you can choose between fixed size or ratio-based trade sizing.
You can also spot trades to join by watching the Live Trades Feed — see a trade you like happening in real time, navigate to the trader, and hit Join Trade.
"Position is not in a joinable state"
If you see this error when trying to join a trade, it means the position can no longer be joined from the platform. This happens when:
- The trade was already copied and has since been closed — for example, if you manually closed the position on your exchange. From the platform's perspective, you already participated in this trade.
- A technical error occurred on the exchange — such as insufficient funds, the symbol not being available on your exchange, or another exchange-side rejection.
Once this error appears, joining this specific trade is not possible. You'll need to wait for the trader to open a new position — if you're following the trader, it will be copied automatically.
