Why Didn't My Trade Copy?
If a trader you're following opened a position but nothing appeared on your side, run through the checklist below.
1. Is your copytrader enabled?
Your copytrader must be enabled, and the specific trader must show as active inside it. If you recently created the copytrader or added a new trader, make sure you clicked Enable.
2. Did slippage block it?
If the price moved beyond your Slippage % between the trader's execution and yours, the trade is rejected to protect you from a bad entry. Check your Telegram notifications for slippage errors.
If you're seeing frequent slippage rejections, consider increasing your slippage setting slightly — but keep in mind that higher slippage means accepting larger price differences. See Slippage settings for details.
3. Have you hit your account or position limit?
If your open positions already reached your Limit Account Size or Max Position Size, new trades won't open until existing positions are reduced or closed. Check your current exposure in the copytrader dashboard.
4. Is the trading pair available on your exchange?
If you're copying a trader from one exchange (e.g. Hyperliquid) but executing on another (e.g. Bybit), some pairs may not exist on your exchange. That trade will be skipped — there's no action needed, it simply won't copy.
5. Do you have enough margin?
If your account balance can't support the new position, the exchange will reject the order. Make sure your Futures or Unified Trading account has sufficient funds.
6. Is the order still pending?
Mirrorly now aggregates smaller orders until they meet the exchange minimum (~$10). If you're copying at a low ratio, you may see a Pending Open or Pending Increase notification in Telegram while the order builds up to the minimum threshold. This is normal — the position will open once enough size accumulates.
Still not working?
Check your Telegram notifications — Mirrorly sends error details there for every failed or skipped trade. If you're not connected to Telegram yet, we recommend setting it up so you have full visibility into what's happening.
